Requirements:

  • All dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the facility.
  • All dogs must be up to date on the listed vaccinations - Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) and you must provide proof of same prior to boarding.
  • All dogs must be on flea and tick preventative.  We check everyone upon arrival.  Dogs found to have fleas or ticks will be treated at the owner's expense.
  • All dogs must be friendly and be able to be handled by staff or you will be asked to pick them up. There are no exceptions.
  • If your dog(s) have NEVER been boarded, or are doing their first extended stay, we strongly recommend a 1- or 2-night trial stay to help your dogs easily acclimate to a boarding environment. Should you choose pass on the trial, and any issues arise, you must have an emergency contact who can pick up your dog. This is for the safety of your dog.
  • A liability waiver must be completed prior to boarding and will be provided to you at drop off.

Hours of Operation and Rates:

Boarding Hours:

Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Pickups and drop offs by appointment only.

Boarding Rates:

$30 a night for one dog

$20 a night for each additional dog

$20 a night for first responders and active-duty military

Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, or Venmo

What to Bring:

  • A properly fitted collar and leash. (Leashes will be sent home at drop off)
  • Your dog's food in a secure plastic bag or tote.  This will prevent your dog from getting an upset stomach.  In case of emergency, we do have food we can provide at an additional cost.
  • Maple Creek Kennels provides indestructible Kuranda beds for every dog as well as stainless steel water buckets and food bowls.
  • Toys, treats, and anything else you feel your dog needs to make their stay more enjoyable. (Maple Creek Kennels is not responsible should any of these items get damaged during your dog's stay.  Some dogs behave differently when being boarded than they do at home)
  • Any oral medications your dog may need during their stay.  Please bring pill pockets, cheese, etc. should your dog need it.  Unfortunately, we are unable to administer injectable medications.

Medical Emergencies

We require that we have your dog's veterinarian on file in case of an emergency. Most vets' offices will not treat dogs they are unfamiliar with without the consent of their owner.  Should your dog need to see a vet during his or her stay, yourself or an emergency contact of your choosing will be notified immediately.
